Aruba, Bonaire, & Curaçao

     ABC Islands

The ABC Islands is the island group that consists of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao,
the three westernmost islands of the Leeward Antilles in the South Caribbean Sea
off the coast of Venezuela.
There are five local churches and one mission in the ABC Islands District. The ABC Islands are diverse in language and culture.
The official language of Bonaire is Dutch, yet the native language is Papiamentu, spoken exclusively in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.
Papiamentu is a mixture of many languages, including Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, French, English, Caribbean Indian,
and various African languages.
Several churches also worship in Creole.
See our Churches page for more information
on the churches in the ABC Islands District.
